Friendly staff. Comfortable beds! Stayed in room 111 twice now!
Hotel is clean, staff are very friendly, and there is a full kitchen and bbq available for guests. Rooms have a fridge over 2x larger than most standard hotel room fridges.
My room was spacious. It was fairly clean for the most part betting and such was clean. The deep cleaning wasn’t so clean. The bathtub has lots of buildup and grime. However, the rooms were spacious. The bed was comfy. All the linens were clean and fresh. I had an amazing experience with the most amazing staff they were so dear and so accommodating
It's very clean and well maintained.The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The Sunshine is just off Hwy 16 and easily seen and accessed from the highway. My kitchenette room is bright and spacious. At first I could hear the louder traffic on Hwy 16, but I eventually got used to the sound. It's a very pleasant accommodation and I would definitely stay here again.
Nice run Motel. Noticeably quite rooms with low outside and hall noise. It is well insulated between rooms and floors. It is my top rated motel for a good night's sleep. In booking request I ask for the South side as I prefer the mountain views and Sun. Very clean, bright rooms, high ceilings and good TV selection with movie channel. good parking with winter plugins. Weather permitting I enjoy the outside deck above the lobby entrance to watch the sunset over the mountains. Breakfast is ok for weekend stays but would be nice to have more variety through the week. Short walk to several good eating places, pubs,Tim H, Boston P and cold beer store. We also enjoy the walk down to the train station along main street and according to my wife surprisingly good
This was a great stop on our drive from Idaho to Alaska. Paul and Jamie at the front desk were so helpful. We were able to bring our bikes in our room and fit in a Mtn bike ride (biking straight from the hotel) before heading out on a day of driving. It is also one block off the Main Street. Was perfect for the price point and location we were looking for.
We stayed in the VIP suite; room is huge. Very clean, two tvs, sitting area, large walkout balcony with view of the mountains. The gentleman at the desk ( I'm thinking likely the owner) was very friendly and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. If you're staying in Smithers I would highly recommend this as your overnight stop. We won't stay anywhere but here next time we're stopping through.
Plenty of food nearby. Breakfast available. Great folks working there. Older property and could use some updates, but everything works.
